Since 1995, SENJIE begun to produce Propylene carbonate, Ethylene carbonate, it has built long-term cooperation with various research institutes and universities. At present, there are three series and more than 20 sorts of products. The output of propylene carbonate is 15,000 tons , ethylene carbonate is 10000 tons. Meanwhile, SENJIE also produces detergent and disinfectant. In October 2003, it has passed ISO9001 and ISO14001 Certificates.
The application of Propylene carbonate:
- It can be used as an efficient solvent for removing carbon dioxide from petroleum gas, petroleum cracking gas, oilfield gas and raw gas for ammonia synthesis;
- In the textile industry, it can be used as a helper and fixative agent for synthetic fibers;
- In the battery industry, it can be used as an excellent medium for lithium batteries;
- In the polymer industry, it can be used as a solvent for polymers.
